Dr. Denise Petty is experienced in working with families, individuals, and couples dealing with domestic violence, substance abuse, or other mental health issues. She maintains a private practice in San Diego California. Dr. Petty focusses on the improvement of the client’s sense of wellbeing, alleviating feelings of distress, and resolving psychological crisis. Her fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese provides therapy in the native language of her clients.

 Dr. Petty, Doctor of Psychology and a Marriage Family Therapist Intern, has more than 12 years of experience in helping children, families, individuals, couples, and groups dealing with life issues and relationship difficulties. Over the years Dr. Petty has worked with a variety of issues involving clients who are struggling to adapt to a multi-cultural environment.
